Justin Adamski - Called the meeting to order.
Minutes from the previous Meeting - Motion made by Steve, 2nd by Jack, approved by all.
Financial Update - Jack Edgerton reported a balance attached to the minutes <TODO>
Jack reported we have not received USCA nor Community Foundation checks for jr nationals. A credit card payment provider report shows it owes $290. Matt Davis to look into the discrepancy. Bar $14,000 profit YDT. Mentioned that it costs $4,600 per month to run the ice, ~ $160 per day. Auditors finished the 990
The transition of Matt Davis - A motion was made by Jack E to accept Matt Davis's resignation from the board, and approve his replacement to be Adam Schultz. 2nd by Steve. Approved by all.
Club Communication support – Broomstacker, email, Facebook, etc. - Board is looking to find a replacement for a communications director. Josh Cutting or Adam Sultz to lead the technology of communication. Add to Tommy’s list/broom stacker. A discussion was made for more of an online presence. Matt W, to look into granting Josh, Josh and Adam access.
Sentry Board meeting recap - Sandra and Doug lead the event on behalf of the club, 68 Sentry Guests came and had a banquet at our club. They were pleased with the facility and hospitality of the club.
Junior Nationals recap - “It was the best event they have been to.” Steve quoted a conversation at the end of Junior Nationals. 125 curlers and coaches. Over 100 people were drawn to the point area for the week. Sentry retirees helped and were much appreciated, Results. 9 teams went to 9 different classrooms in the area during the tournament to speak to the kids. ~$30,000 in revenue. ~$20,000-15,000 in net profit. The biggest fundraiser we have done, with over 100 volunteers. Discussion to host again was had, and improvements. The kitchen netted $400.
Plant shutdown - support of wheelchair curlers - Shawn Sadowski requested to keep the ice for a few days for practice with members of the wheelchair team. With a lack of volunteers and the weather conditions, the board elected to shut down the ice on May 12th. Justin will call Shawn, the ice will be available.
CCC stone donation - CCC reached out to us requesting a donation for a set of stones. We declined their request.
SafeSport compliance - There are problems with the compliance site granting access to the new board members. Steve to email material to the board. Background checks need to take place for board members. Steve to follow up on background checks.
Scholarship committee update - Motion made by Steve to put $1,500 in the scholarship fund, 2nd by Matt. Approved by all. Scholarships will be available to apply for ending June 1. Selection will be made prior to July 1. The plan is to solicit and grant the 2023 scholarship in the February timeframe and present it at the end-of-year banquet.
Bonspiel Calendar 2022-23 - Matt to update the website to reflect proper bonspiel dates. Discussion of hosting a U-5 Bonspiel. Josh Chonacki to discuss viability and national sanctioning. There is an assumption that the bulk of the volunteers will be from the Sunday U-5 League. Targeting December 9th-11th or December 16th - 18th
Golf Outing - 9/12 - Matt to coordinate communication and gather teams. Justin to coordinate hole sponsors. Emily Weiss to coordinate raffle baskets in tandem with the opener.

League/Bonspiel plaques - The Townsends to help Matt and Emily Weiss coordinate the effort.
CPR Training - Who in our membership is certified? - A note in the broomstacker to gather who in the club is certified.
Other Items.
Sandra - two potential corporate events, both from Sentry. for Sept and October. The September one will be before the opener.
Jack’s Quickies -
Renewal of liquor license is in progress. Jack sent letters to all bartenders whose licenses are expired. Unpaid ice adds, bottlestop.
Jack K will coordinate the ice house shutdown.
