Minutes from previous Meeting - Minutes approved, motion made by Steve 2nd by Doug, approved - all in favor. 

Financial Update … Jack Edgerton …. Jack reported a balance of $129,294 Discussion of using $20,000 toward the Plover debt. Total loans outstanding $698K … $426K owed to the Village, $100 to USCA.. $171K to the Pineries Bank. Also, owe for the Stones which will be paid down over several years. Bonspiels brought in appx $21K, Bar $11K. Recap of members - 160 adults, 191 dues-paying members. WPS bill appx $5K per month. Spectrum $200 per month. Question regarding the audit that was conducted - a result of soliciting and receiving in excess of $500K - Cost $12K. 

Election of Officers - Doug Anderson announced he would not be seeking re-election for the President position. Doug reached out to Justin Adamski to discuss interest in serving … Justin said he would be willing to serve as President. Steve Wykle was nominated and accepted the Vice President position. Treasurer - Jack Edgerton agreed to continue as Treasurer. Secretary - Sandra willing to continue - then came a nomination from Matt Weiss to take on the Secretary position, Sandra was very willing to have Matt voted to the role of Secretary. Sentry Board Meeting Event - Doug discussed Sentry’s request to hold their Board Meeting at the Curling Center on Tuesday, May 10th - they will be having a team come in to check out the facility to determine if it would fit their needs. Working with Doug on details.

Junior Nationals Update April 13 - 17th, 2022. Steve Wykle .. 

Teams finalized - 12 men’s 10 lady’s . Draws provided by USCA - Registration / Practice to begin on Saturday, April 23rd. First draw Saturday evening 7:00 pm. Games throughout the week, Championship games Saturday April 30th. Received a $5000 donation from Sentry, Spectra Print donated an in kind $2K donation - providing the printing of the programs. Lori Kawleski submitted a request for a grant for $5900 from the Stevens Point Area Visitors Bureau - Sara Brish. Estimate from admissions, programs, food, bar - hoping for ..appx $20K. Shawn Olson responsible for stones - bringing in all equipment needed to create perfect ice / curling. Chris and Stacy Viau chairing host family requests. Need to coordinate a moving crew to help get the bleachers from SPASH to the club, Gary Kawleski will be transporting the bleachers. Dimensions 36” wide, 56” high, 15’ long. Two bleachers will fit on the trailer, - will need two trips. Will coordinate delivery date. Ice Work - working on detail for support for the ice crew. 

Safe Sport Compliance 

Received notification that the Safe Sport crew will be auditing the Jr Nationals Event. Safe Sport notification will be sent to all volunteers to make them aware of the importance of the Safe Sport Environment..
