Daily Schedule: Click here for daily schedule of events.
Opening Ceremony: We will have an Opening Ceremony for the event on Saturday, 4/23 following the last practice session. We are delighted to have Korey Dropkin joining us for the Opening to speak to the athletes and throw the first stone. Athletes will be introduced and local community and club leaders will help kick-off this exciting event. Admission to the Opening Ceremony is Free to all.
Closing Ceremony and Event: There will be a Medal Ceremony on the ice immediately following the Finals.
We are also planning a Closing Social Event for teams and families however, we will need to be flexible on this event depending on the time of the Finals. Our expectation is that the Finals will most likely be held at 2:00PM Saturday, 4/30 afternoon. This will be the schedule if we do NOT need two Tiebreaker games on Friday, 4/29. Following the Finals on Saturday afternoon, we will clear the facility and prep for a casual social event to take place 2 hours after the Medal Ceremony (approximately 6:30PM). The Stevens Point Curling Club will provide heavy appetizers and a cash bar to allow some time to relax and engage with other teams. We will have a short program at 7:00PM to present special awards. Following we will have a Trivia contest, an Ice Cream Sundae bar and more time to socialize. Dressy casual attire is suggested for Athletes.
Should the Finals take place at 7:00PM due to the need for Tiebreakers on Friday, we will provide appetizers and cash bar during the game. Special Awards will be presented on the ice as a part of the Medal Ceremony.
Web streaming: will not be available for this event.
